In short, no, different castes would not be able to breed. If, by chance, two similar castes did produce a child, it still wouldn't be a hybrid because, as Miysis said, one bloodline would dominate.

I absolutely loved your series and am highly excited for the final book coming out soon. It is hard finding fantasy novels that are really well written with multiple characters to fall for. I have a nagging question though. How do you pronounce Lyre's name?? I've used (leer-ray, lie-ree, liar). Help a girl out :)
