Thank god no romance. That is why I always prefer Victoria Schwab books. So instant romance, but realistic concept of other relationship that can occur between a boy and a girl.

I was actually surprised (and pretty excited) that there wasn't any. I guess you could say that there was a little bit of romantic tension (if you squint REALLY hard), but the novel definitely didn't focus on it. It was very refreshing, considering all the young adult novels to day that have lots of mush and little action.
