hello! It's me again haha. I'm really enjoying your books! I finished most of the Charm of Magpie books, and one of the Society of Gentlemen books. I just have a question about Feast of Stephen. When Saint said it's easier for Stephen because he's a bloke and Stephen said no not really and Saint blushed... What does that mean? Sorry I'm not too good with reading between the lines.... Thank you!

Saint meant to say that it's easier for Stephen to become part of the Crane/Merrick axis than it is for her, because she's female. Stephen's pointing out that it's harder for him in general because he's in a gay relationship. Saint blushes because she's still getting used to talking about her superior officer's illegal sex life. :)

Your ability to build full characters, enduring friendship, and an immersive 1920s environment is incredible. 2) What book(s) of yours would you rec to readers who loved the Darling series? I'm looking for the Caldwell ghost and your name isn't on the author list of Torquere anymore - where else can I get it? Like the other question stated I came to the series through the Whyborne & Griffin crossover you did and I want to read all the related books in order but can't find the first one...help?
