From what the summary says it sounds like Wonder by R.J. Palacio, just from his sister's POV. Is that what this book was like? I enjoyed Wonder, and I would love to read it from the sisters POV...

june ✧˖*° It is from his sister's POV because in Wonder, Auggie only has facial deformities but no brain damage. In this book David, the main character has autism, which prohibits his brain from functioning well enough to write an entire book from his perspective. His sister does an amazing job of relaying her feelings of being in public with her autistic brother and how that affects her relationships with family and friends.
Grace I could be mistaken, but I don't think that this is directly about the boy in Wonder or his sister. As to it being like the POV of the boy's sister, I think that this might be a good book for you in that respect. :)
Stella This book is not from his sister's POV. It's a whole different story.
