Hmmm.Maybe 3 hours a day on average of actual writing. Another two hours for social media, email, writing discussions with my wife, talking to agents and lawyers. Many hours of plot ideas floating around at the edge of consciousness.
The hardest work is book tour when I go out to schools and bookstores and festivals. Those tend to be long days, plus I'm living out of a hotel. On the other hand, my publisher's paying my bar bill, so that helps.
