Ever since my first book Owning Corey (King Wizard), it's a tradition to have a Kid Cudi or WZRD song on each novel playlist (though the one for Undeclared didn't make the final cut on Spotify-- I think I will add it back). But somehow I had never heard Teleport 2 Me Jamie. Imagine my surprise when I happened upon it while trying to find the right song for that moment. Lyrically, it was perfect-- and the fact that Cudi did it left no doubt. It was destiny!
