Hi Ruta! Do you have any plans to adapt your novels into movies? I haven't read "Salt to the Sea" yet, but I've read (and absolutely LOVED) "Between Shades of Gray" and "Out of the Easy" and I think they would both make incredible movies. When I read books I picture them playing out as movies in my head and I would love to see your books on the big screen!

Thanks for your question about movies. The answer is — YES!

"Between Shades of Gray" is in production as a movie right now. In two weeks I will travel to Europe to be on set for the filming. I can't wait!

"Salt to the Sea" has been optioned for film and is in development right now. Keep your fingers crossed!

Salt To Sea was outstanding and I have made it a suggestion for many friends. Would you ever consider continuing on that story into the next generation?
