Does anyone know why this book is so rare/expensive? I can't find any copies under $60.

Lynette Browning-brock Up until a few years ago, it was common to find paperback copies on Amazon for as little as a penny. I believe the internet's given the book a boost and that people have been snatching up available copies based on word-of-mouth. Keep checking the secondhand markets! I found mine for a quarter at a yard sale so they are still floating around out there!

Here's digital copy that I found on Reddit and read from. It's not ebook formatted it looks as if the pages were scanned. It needs to be downloaded and takes a few minutes but it works.
David Abebooks.com has a few paperback copies left for $2.10 apiece with $4 shipping. Shipping from UK from a 5 star seller. Copies ARE in fair condition though if condition is a factor.
Amanda Probably because its been out of print for so long, and I believe it was the author's only novel.
Jack Thackwell One of the few good things about 2020, this book has had a re-print from Paperbacks from Hell. You can get it for around £11-£12
Kim Hunter Good news, it's being republished soon
Shaun I got my copy for twenty something bucks on thriftbooks.com. Hang in there!
