Hi, Ruta! Being from Latvia I felt connected to your first book and was wondering whether you've been to Lithuania? If yes, than what's the thing that keeps you close to your origins and what you like about the country?

Hope all is well in Latvia. Yes, I've been to Lithuania many times. I've also been to beautiful Latvia! I visited Riga several years ago when my first novel, "Between Shades of Gray" was published.

I love visiting Lithuania because I feel connected to the culture. The art, music, dance, and food all feel familiar and wonderful to me.
