How do you get inspired to write?

P.J. Laube I began writing to heal. Originally, I did not realize it would turn into something more. Something in the pit of my stomach kept me coming back to writing even when I didn't want to. I tried to run from what had happened to me, and telling my story was not something I wanted to do.
If prescription drug addiction and withdrawal can happen to me, it can happen to anyone. I found thousands upon thousands of people who had become accidental addicts at the hands of the ill-advised professionals who had prescribed the drugs. My original fight or flight turned into trying to aid others who had or are going through a similar journey. Maybe I can prevent it from happening to someone else.
