Where is your favorite place to write?

Ruta Sepetys Hi Emily!

We have a small cabin out at the lake and it's my favorite place to write. I feel so at peace there! :)

Nooria
Nooria asked Ruta Sepetys:

When did you know you wanted to become a writer?

Valerie
Valerie asked Ruta Sepetys:

Hi ruta! I loved loved between shades of grey! It's was my most favorite read of 2015! And it left me in a major book hangover and made me cry even more than any book! My question is was it very difficult to write about you research the book? Love Valerie :)

Hallie
Hallie asked Ruta Sepetys:

Hi Ruta!! The book club I am in at school just got done reading Between Shades of Gray (and all of us who read it loved it). The big discussion question was of all the symbolism in the book. We found some like the pocket watch/ the man with the watch, the handkerchief, her sketches are just a few. My question to you is was there any symbolism you absolutely wanted in the book to stick out to readers?
