I believe there's a story in everything. It may be web content or a press release on what could appear a fairly mundane subject (a car insurance company I penned copy for recently comes to mind) but there will be still be a way to bring the subject to life. Some subjects are more inspirational than others, of course, but if you show empathy for the subject matter, do your prep correctly, the results will speak for themselves. With any book you can't just rely on being excited by the story, you need to give some serious thought to how it will develop, how you will sustain interest for the reader, and that it has a natural flow. If I can tick most or all of these boxes I'll not be found wanting in the 'inspired' department.
