Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Seth Ervin Keys of Candor is the fruit of a long process in discovery writing with my co-author. Casey and I have been a good friend for years, so Keys of Candor is a good mix of all the things we loved growing up: Star Wars, Dune, Lord of the Rings, Greek Mythology, and Biblical stories. There is also a good smattering of dark horror elements woven in (Thank you Stephen King). It took us three years of polishing our main story to arrive at what is currently The Red Deaths, but it's been a fun experience.
