Is this book appropriate for a 12-year-old (who is interested in history, classics and historical fiction)?

Breosch I read it when I was 14 but if I'd known it existed before then I would have absolutely loved it.

If they love classics + history they will love this. I've been obsessed with Cicero since I was 6 (I was a strange child. When people asked me what I wanted to be when I was older, all the other children would say actors or astronauts and I was just there going "Cicero!")(less)
