Dear Mr. West, This isn't actually a question . . . simply a thank-you from the daughter of a Korean Conflict-era veteran, the niece of a Vietnam War veteran (multiple tours of duty), and the daughter-by-marriage of a WWII veteran. My dad was Col. Dewey L. Smith USAF ret. who was the longest held American POW from the state of KY in the Vietnam War. I too grew up moving from one Air Force Base to another, until he left for Vietnam. Then we returned to our hometown of Louisville. I lived through my teenage years knowing that my daddy was being beaten and starved. Thank you for bringing this into the light! Did you have a relative who was a POW?

Is the main character in Some Never Forget talking to imaginary people? That's what I started to think halfway through the book. I began to notice that some of the people he was talking to always showed up when no one was around to witness it. But then the last page of the story made me rethink this. Also it seems like Fire Wolf is imaginary!!!
