Place behind on chair. Place fingers on keyboard. Write. Do this every day, even if you only end up writing a couple of sentences. And read and read and read. I've met few writers who weren't avid readers. Just enjoy writing, and have reasonable expectations: you won't make squillions -- that's the precious few, and most of what you read in the media is exaggerated.
