Goodreads asked Moctezuma Johnson:

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Moctezuma Johnson Drinking tons of coffee and sitting around with no shirt on in my underwear. The banhmi delivery guy is totally used to me answering the door in my undies. We chat for a few minutes and then I eat my favorite meal and go back to writing (or slaying dragons and mixing chicken shit into vials).

There are many ways of seeing the world, and as those ways change, grow, augment, I feel really lucky. That's the best think about being a writer. I feel like I devour the world as I see it and live in it. Other people nibble. I'd give a vulture a run for it's money.
