Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Janet McNulty The idea for Solaris Seethes goes back to when I was in high school. I had the idea about a story about magic crystals then. I pushed it aside and never thought about it again, until I was cleaning out my old high school stuff and came across a notebook of story ideas. I found the one about the magic crystals and thought it would make an interesting science fiction / fantasy story. Of course, I tweaked the magic crystal concept, but it was what created the story of Solaris.
