Your books are so creative, and I'm always blown away by your fantastic ideas! How do you think of such amazing fantasy worlds and overcome writer's block when it comes time to put pen to paper?

just switch your antennas on RECEIVE! Emily, and there'll be a storm of ideas. This world is woven from stories, countless wonderful and terrifying stories. You just have to listen. Don't look for them inside. Look outside. You are the tool that writes the story down, the pen shaped by everything you know and feel, hate and love. But the story should be inspired by the world you live in.
as for writer's block - there is no such thing. Stories are labyrinths. They like to hide between the hedges and sometimes...you took the wrong turn. Which means: turn around and see where it tricked you. Another reason may be that you didn't feed your story properly. They tend to be very hungry. You need to feed them with time and passion, with research about a thousand things and endless detail- as endless as reality is.

That comes to my question: What are some tips you would give to a want to be author who wants to make their characters more believeable? Also, what are some tips to keeping the story entertaining from cover to cover? Thanks, and have a fantabulous day!
