I'll have you know I'm obsessed with the beautiful cover of TSTQ. How did it come together? What did you think when you saw it? :D

Hi Luke!
All credit is due to my brilliant cover designer: Danielle Christopher at St. Martin's Press.
When we first got started talking about cover design, we wanted to pull from elements of the story. A little bit of the main character, a little bit of the night sky and infuse it with a sense of magic. My editor, agent and designer first got a start with some of the images on my Star-Touched Queen Pinterest page: https://www.pinterest.com/rchoxi91/th...
From there, it was just a matter of tweaking things bit by bit!
I saw this cover when I was standing in line for the airport.
I did that little gasp-sob that sounds so musical coming from screen sirens of the 1940s, and which, alas, sounds like a dying water buffalo coming from me. After that, I showed everyone around me. And they all said they'd buy the book. But I think this was mostly to make me shut up.
Glad you love it too!

Hi Roshani! I have seen you mention on Twitter etc. that your first drafts can be lacking characterization, plot, etc. I’ve been working on a draft and have come to understand who my characters are and the world fairly well, but I don’t really know how to go about building out the plot! Not a whole lot happens and my plot feels very “bare bones” to me right now. Do you have any tips for working on that?

Hi, Roshani! I really love The Gilded Wolves from the first time I read an ARC from NetGalley and I'm still pumped up for The Silvered Serpents. My W question is how do you develop characters in your story, especially in TGW Nad TSS where the cast is diverse and well-established? What inspires you to come up with this set of fictional characters representing people from various parts of the globe? Thank you!
