Hi Mr.Grant, I'm a huge fan of Gone and BZRK Series , and I have a question for you...When did you start writing books and what encouraged you to do so?

Michael Grant Poverty was a pretty good motivation. I had made rather a mess of my life, my wife and I were actually cleaning homes and offices on Cape Cod when we decided this was not exactly using our talents. Katherine suggested we should try writing, and amazingly enough, it worked.

Hey! I'm currently about 1/4 of the way through FEAR in the GONE series and I just have to say that I really love your writing style. (I want to read your other series as well but they're never in any of the libraries I go to :/ ) I'm curious when you got the inspiration for this series?
