I have started a book which says it was written by you but I can not find it on Goodreads under your name. A gathering light - did you write this book?

Jennifer Donnelly Yes, that's the UK edition of A Northern Light. The first book of Phillip Pullman's great His Dark Materials series was called "Northern Lights" in the UK (that book is known as "The Golden Compass" in the US), so we had to fine another name for mine!

Thank you for writing Stepsister! It was magical and moving to the last word. I loved the humor you wove through the story and enjoyed the reader's (I listened to the audio book) performance. Her inflections and voices truly brought the tale to life! Do you have input on which performer is selected to read your books and/or how they are reading the characters? Do you get advice on pronunciation, timing, etc?
