Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Elizabeth Nunez King Lear appealed to me because I had recently gone through intense conflicts with my sisters over my parents’ will and the inheritance we were to share. I had a very close relationship with my sisters, so I was shocked when things fell apart. Writing the novel Even in Paradise helped me to heal, and restored my relationship with my sisters. Then, of course, using King Lear as the blueprint for the novel was timely since this year is the 400th anniversary of his death in 1616.
