How do you deal with writer’s block?

Patty Wiseman Writer's block is annoying to say the least. Some days the words just flow with ease. Other days every sentence you write seems off. When I have those days, I step back, go outside and take a walk. Sometimes, I put the headphones on and listen to music while I walk. Every once in a while, I sit down and pick up a good book and read for a while. Most of the time inspiration filters back and I can continue.
