Miriam Kahn
Miriam Kahn asked Deborah Harkness:

Since libraries are the setting for your adventure, what do you see the role of libraries and archives in your own life?

Deborah Harkness my life wouldn't be possible without libraries and librarians. Period.

Patti
Patti asked Deborah Harkness:

What do you like best about fiction writing? Least?

Brandy
Brandy asked Deborah Harkness:

In SoN's tilt yard scene, Louisa tells Hancock that Diana will bring down the de Clermonts, fulfilling Gerbert's ancient prophecy to Ysabeau. "Beware the witch with the blood of the lion and the wolf, for with it she shall destroy the children of the night." This is never mentioned again. I understand the first part, but what is the significance/intent of "...she shall destroy the children of the night?"

Jen
Jen asked Deborah Harkness:

Hi there! I'm wondering how you decide what point of view to write a book or a chapter from. I've noticed the shifting pov most obviously in The Book of Life, and it really got me thinking about your process.
