Goodreads asked Marty Machowski:

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Marty Machowski While sitting in my favorite chair, early one morning during devotions, I got the idea for writing a theology book for children. The name The Ology popped into my mind. I jumped off the chair to grab a piece of paper and scribbled out a quick storyboard for the topics I wanted to cover. I began the story with two children finding an old book in a pile of rubble, reminiscent of the book of the law found in the Temple during Josiah's reign. The title and the opening story held through the writing process with the pile of rubble transformed into a hidden room in an old church basement.
