I don't. I plant my ass in a chair, open the manuscript on my laptop, and tell that lousy bastard to get lost. Writer's block usually comes from when I've taken a wrong turn in a story, but the worst thing I can do at that point is to stop writing. Usually, the better option is to force the matter.
