What are you currently working on?

Kathleen Jowitt I suppose you might call it a 'sports romance'. I don't know, though - I've never read any sports romances. It's a screwball romantic comedy where he's a professional cyclist who's been kicked out for doping and she's a medical student who's had to drop out due to chronic illness. It's an extended meditation on the various legitimate and illegitimate uses of the word 'cheat'. It's about learning to live with physical limitations, helped or hindered by society at large.

Some day I'll write a nice fluffy romance with no politics. Today is not that day.
