Goodreads asked A.D. Starrling:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

A.D. Starrling I tend not to call it writer's block. If I get "stuck" while writing a book, it means that I've taken the wrong path somewhere in the plot or I've missed something important about a character. This happened halfway through writing Greene's Calling. Once I figured out what the problem was (in this instance, I had failed to make Conrad as emotionally involved as he should be in the mission), I went back and fixed it. It took about a week. The story flowed again from there on.
