Were you at all influenced by Stephen Kings Dark Tower? I felt a lot of similarities between the post apocalyptic worlds in both series.

Mark Lawrence I wasn't. I have read them but after I wrote the Broken Empire trilogy.

Edit: Having looked up the dates I rated the books (2011) it seems likely that I was actually reading some of them while writing King &/or Emperor. The trilogy was completed before Prince of Thorns came out, and Prince was written years earlier, but the other two books were written between 2009 and 2011.

Hi Mark, I absolutely loved Red Sister and I'm almost done with Grey Sister, which has been amazing so far! If you can say, will Nona eventually have a love interest, and will it hopefully be Ara? I'm assuming you can't say too much but whatever you can is greatly appreciated! I don't know if I can make it all the way to next year for the last book! Congratulations again on creating such a wonderful series!!
