This in my opinion hasn't ruined Harry Potter because it is just a sequel, not an actual book from the direct serie.

In my opinion, it was very disappointing on so many levels. To begin with, the practically number one rule of magic is that no spell can revive the dead, and most of the plot revolves around attempting just that. Secondly, time travel doe not lend itself to believable plots, let alone the ripple effects that alter people's lives drastically. Even the dialogue between characters seemed artificial and uncharacteristic. I would not recommend this to any fans of the Harry Potter series.

Please do not worry, I just saw the play and I swear nothing is ruined. It was far beyond my expectations!

Yeah, you're not alone, but I'm still excited.

everyone feels EXACTLY the same way. For once it could be perfect, but then again it could ruin everything.
