I write when I’m inspired, not when I’m empty. Mornings are when I have the most creative energy. Occasionally, the power isn’t there. That’s OK. I have no boss or deadline. I never whip myself to write a mandatory quota of words every day. Good ideas often arrive when I’m doing something mindless.
