Therese Kravetz asked Ann Livi Andrews:

Ann, you've been helpful in the past so I'm reaching out. Where do I go to get "author" status and a blog on Goodreads? I've published on Smashwords and Kindle and I have a 200 page non-fiction book that will be released April 5. I need to get the word out for that as well. The help pages and Q & A are a little overwhelming. Thank you! - Therese K.

Ann Livi Andrews Hi Therese!

Your book will have to be added to Goodreads and then I believe you'll need to "claim" your book as the author, which includes sending Goodreads a message. But you should be able to do that on your book's profile when it's uploaded.

Once Goodreads confirms that you're the author of the book, you'll be given Author Status and you'll be able to work on your author profile, including linking up your blog.

At least, that's how I remember going about the process. You can always send a Goodreads representative a message - they're very helpful and should be able to help you with the process.

Thank you!
