Even though the definition of awesome is basically Lodestar's cover, I don't get it. Doesn't the Fitz from this cover look different compared to Everblaze's Fitz? I doesn't matter, though. There will still be the same amount of awesomeness. I can't wait! When can I pre-order Lodestar? After all, patience isn't my strong suit. Never was. -Navya

Shannon Messenger Okay, here's the thing: poor Fitz has never gotten to have what I would call a glamour pose (like what Keefe had on the cover of Exile, where he's just standing there looking adorable). Fitz has had to fall upside down from a burning tower at night. And now he's had to be trapped in a forcefield--which is currently stinging him as he touches the charged side trying to figure out how to escape. So, that affects his appearance. His coloring was darker in Everblaze and his hair styled differently because it was night and he was falling and upside down and all kinds of other things that really affect your appearance. And now in Lodestar he's trapped behind a field of light which changes his coloring and his hair is styled different because he's not falling and his face is twisted with pain so it affects his features. But it's still the same artist drawing the same character the same way. He's just also drawing the circumstances poor Fitz is always battling. And the book is available for preorder RIGHT NOW through amazon. Not sure when other stores will add it--amazon is always the first. But the rest will follow over the next few months. And YAY for pre-ordering!!!
