You often write about difficult issues in our society (illegal immigration, environmental destruction, random shootings, etc.). Have you gotten any positive feedback that your books help people to understand, cope, prepare, legislate, vote, get involved, reach out, change their lifestyles or otherwise deal with these issues?

T. Coraghessan Boyle To a degree, Marty. I am not an activist, however, but rather an artist trying to make art and address his own concerns. My concerns happen to be metaphysical (who are we?), sociological and, above all, environmental.
