April
April asked T. Coraghessan Boyle:

I love to write, but I'm not trying to be a professional. I just write about my thoughts on my own experiences. I keep it very private. If I had stories in my head it might be different. So what is the difference between you and me? Is your head just full of stories or do you sit at your desk and think, "I want to write about this particular theme and now I'll figure out a story that will express my thoughts on it"?

T. Coraghessan Boyle Tough question, April, but I suspect that you and I write for exactly the same reason: to shape the world and give it meaning.
