If you were able to pick any career and be as successful as you are as a writer, you would still get paid the same amount and you can live anywhere in the world, what would you do and where would you do it?

T. Coraghessan Boyle Number one, Chris, would be a musician. I went to a music school as an undergrad but didn't really make the grade. Number two, would be a field biologist, preferably in Ichthyology. Number three would be dictator of my own litocracy, in which everyone was perfectly happy and read tons of books per annum.
