Not a question but I just wanted to say I discovered Maisie Dobbs, a few years ago, and the books are still one of my favourites, in the detective genre. I have bought a number of the books as gifts for friends. Thank you. I am sure many of us wish we could write as well as you do, so if you have some advice?

Jacqueline Winspear My advice to any writer, Joanne, is to read voraciously and to write - in fact, to cross-train in your writing (poetry, non-fiction, short-fiction ... the lot). Build your writing muscles.

I read the book and enjoyed everything about it but the ending. I know this is a stand alone book, but the ending was very abrupt. Will there be a 2nd novel to show how Kezia gets through WWI?
