Hi Linda, I hope everything is fine with you. I was wondering how was your writing process with PRICE OF A KISS. You know that your first FORBIDDEN MEN book is PERFECTION to my eyes, so it's a sort of model for me. My question is this: did you start to write the story with the Prologue about Mason and Mrs Garrison or from the first chapter with Reese and Eva? Can't wait for PRICELESS. I <3 your FM books!!!

Oh my gosh!! You made me go back to my beginning notes to see which scene came first! I emailed an idea for the story to myself on October 23, 2012, so that's when it all began. And the original title was supposed to be...The Bad Boy Fetish! I think I like Price of a Kiss better. LOL! :)
Anyway, I had totally different names for all the characters. Mason was originally Parker Talley and Reese was Quinn Julian (real name Melissa York). I have no idea why I changed those.
And I had just a few lines for the prologue:
Parker Talley was trying to fix his mother's push mower so he could mow the lawn when Mrs. Garrison came to collect the rent.
"Where's your mother?"
"She's taken my sister to a doctor's appointment."
"How old are you now, Parker?"
"Eighteen."
A hawkish grin spread across her lips. "So, you're legal then."
His reaction must've spread across his face because she gave a husky chuckle. "I see I've shocked you."
(Looks like I kept all of that, but the line I had for the beginning of chapter one is totally different than how it ended up):
It was a windy October evening when Quinn Julian started her life as Melissa York.
And then I had a tagline idea that said:
When Good Boys Go Bad
When Bad Girls Go Good
And get this (I totally forgot about this part until I saw my notes) I was going to make Reese's crazy ex be the son of a mob boss. LOL!!
