How do you get inspired to write?

Donna Everhart By reading. When I read a book that thrills me, places me directly into a story, and makes me feel what a character is feeling, I have the urge to immediately go to my own work in progress and strive for the same level of emotional connection or excitement.

So. Reading. And lots of coffee. That seems to do it.
