The strangest things inspire me but when I get the "bug", I immediately sit down and write out an outline or the whole story if it is short enough such as a rhyming bedtime story, or it can be lost. I have gotten up in the middle of the night numerous times when I have an idea that is keeping me awake. I love to take forest walks and let my imagination go but I am sure to take my phone with me so I can make voice notes.
