So, I read Road Brothers a bit ago, and after the last story with Father Gomst, I wondered if you had any plans of writing a novella or another short story with young Jorg and William?

I'm not a planner. So my default answer to any question involving plans is 'no'.
But writing such a novella doesn't hold great appeal to me, so that's a double 'no'.
A short story is a possibility but as with all such things there are diminishing returns. Currently my instinct is to write new stuff.

Afternoon, Mark. Do you have any tips on discovery writing? I've written two novels now that feel so 'meh' using extensive outlining. I'm writing a third, but I'm already losing steam following the outline. There's just no life or finesse in my work--nothing jumps off the page. I want to be able to write more character focused. However, I think of sitting down to write with nothing to follow, and it scares me :)

Hi Mark, I just finished Road Brothers, which immediately sent me to re-re-re reading Prince of Thorns. I won't elaborate (too long) on how big a fan I am, read and re-read all you wrote. Was I right to detect a "brotherly'' quip at a fellow writer in the footnote of Choices ? Something about the temperature of revenge ?
