I guessed pretty early in that Aline was the kings daughter. What I don't understand is how she wasn't aware. Particularly after the exchange between Ethalia and Aline. "Ethalia smiled at the girl. 'Your father would tell you differently little one. Shall I speak his name aloud?' Aline froze at that." Would you mind explaining that passage if Aline in fact was unaware that the king was her father? Thank you!
