Just wondering what are your plans after Wrath? Something in the same universe years apart, something new in the same genre or something completely different? Honestly I'd read anything you write but personally hoping something new. Whatever it is have fun writing it!

Hi Milan,
Great to hear from you, and thank-you for the question, I'm really pleased that you want to read more of my scrawling :)
I have a few different ideas circling in my brain, but the next project is going to be a new trilogy set in the same world of The Banished Lands, titled Of Blood and Bone. It will take place about 100 years after the events of Wrath. I don't want to say too much about it for fear of giving away spoilers from Wrath, but I can say that I'm really excited about writing it. There are some characters and events in there that I can't wait to write.
Here's what my publishers said about the new trilogy:

Thanks again for the question. Anything else you'd like to know just shout (I mean, type).
Best,
John

Hey John, ever felt the joy of being immersed in a series so much you find yourself finishing it faster than you want and then the dreaded realization a great series is going to end? That is how I feel about the Faithful and The Fallen. I am finishing it too fast! But I noticed you have started a new series, "Of Blood and Bone"! Could I ask how many books will it be?

Hello John! I started Malice yesterday (page ~60 right now), and I think that I can spot a lot of analogies between the Kingdom of Scotland and its various fiefdoms and the invasions of Norwegian reavers. Am I to assume that you read a lot of Scottish history and used a good part of it in the series? Regards, Dimitrios P.S. 1 Does everyone in Tenebral wear kilts? P.S. 2 Nice Dane axe in your photo!

Hi John . I'm sorry to say but I'm new to your writings but have heard a lot a good things!! So I preordered A Time Of Dread because what I had read about it ,sounded interesting to me. My question is should I have read the previous trilogy or can I go back at a later time and read them or will I be confused starting off with A Time Of Dread?
