Hello, I'm a huge fan of Raksura series. I like to listen to a song on loop while reading a book. Will you suggest me a song to listen to while reading the upcoming "The Edge of Worlds"?
Martha Wells
Hi, and thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoy the books!
That's a neat question. I think it would depend a lot on what kind of music you personally like. This is my favorite playlists that I used when I was writing The Edge of Worlds, so maybe it'll give you some songs to choose from. Some of them make me think of Moon, or the relationships between characters, some make me think of the Fell, and some just the feel of the world in general.

Hi, do you know about the MBTI personality types? If so, do you know your type. Sorry if this question seems misplaced.

I just finished re-reading the Murderbot books. While reading, I noticed that Murderbot's character was very similar to asexual (ace)/agender/aromantic. Being ace/agender, I loved how you brought this up early and kept it consistent. Were you trying to align Murderbot with these identities, or was it a coincidence? Either way, I rarely find a character I can identify with like that, so it means a lot to me! Thank you!

I'm participating in NaNoWriMo for the first time and I'm really excited but I keep running into self-doubt that I'm afraid will catch up and cripple my chances of finishing the book I've been planning since 2005. Do you ever experience this? How do you not let it derail your writing process?
