Do you ever go through and "cast" your characters with actors to get a feel for how they look/act? Reading Futuristic Violence, in my head Will is portrayed by Jeffrey Donovan from the tv show Burn Notice.

David Wong Well I need a face in mind but it's not always a famous person, I think with Will I was originally picturing Gabriel Byrne in Miller's Crossing but over time it became Jon Hamm. Zoey I think was someone I saw in the background of a random photo. A little overweight with a blue dye job she had messed up. Looked kind of tired and world weary.

So I'm turning 28 soon (always thought I'd die before I got old, not that 28 is OLD, but my youth has been all but spent) & I'm an aspiring author who's filled journals with bits & pieces of different novels that I grew to hate & left fallow.
