What made you decide to begin writing your books? As one of many avid readers, I am sure we all have thought of some story line we think would be good. But what made you begin to type that first page?

Wow, Sorry Margaret, I suck at GoodReads and didn't realize I had questions!
Like you, I'm an avid reader who wanted 'more' of my favorite stories. I've wanted to write since High School (bad experience there). It was on my bucket list, but two things pushed me forward.
One, I wanted to be able to 'for sure' tell my oldest son what it took to put out a fiction book. His personality and mine are not similar, where I will just 'do it', he considers it further. I think that is a personality type that will NOT do something and I wanted to take away a reason for not moving forward.
Second, I had this 20k book started for almost a year and finally decided that with the first impetus and my own desire to check off a bucket list item, I would find a software program to help me make it happen (I was using Apple Pages and trying to deal with a 20k book was too much pain).
I found Scrivener, watched the video's and pushed forward.

I just saw (not read) the "Rise of Magic" Books, and it says that they are "set on the foundation laid by the Kurtherian Gambit Series" ... so this "magic" is something like teletransportation, creating balls of energy, transforming into wolfs and stuff like that magic?? .. maybe related to the question that TOM once asked Bethany Anne about "Why witches were not real??"
