Goodreads asked Michael Anderle:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Michael Anderle I haven't suffered writer's block per se'. I will just start typing. I do suffer from 'geez, I don't want to write now'. But that is different.

For example...

Paul Jerstie was walking home from the corner store, the night was cool and he was feeling...

What? What was he feeling? Just start typing and letting the muse flow. I feel that words can be tweaked, a blank page can't.

Put something on and tune out the world. You can do it! If you have to have a 'scratch' page where you just start typing something, anything, you will get your mind in gear. Will it suck? Possibly, but sucky words beat no words every time.

Only by using what you got will you get better. So, put something down!
