I've read your books Birds on a Wire & Rabbit Trails, and they both seem to emphasize family and friends. Were you conscious of that when you wrote them?

Thanks for your question! To be honest, I was not. Like most people I do value family and friends highly, so it appears it came about as a natural extension of the way I think, but it must have come about subconsciously.
