Goodreads asked Will Wyckoff:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Will Wyckoff Remember these always: 1) When you put a pencil or pen to paper or when you sit at your keyboard, you become God. You may make anything at all happen. 2) Have fun! When writing becomes a chore or a headache, walk away. 3) Be true to yourself, but be responsible. Try not to worry about what others will think of your work. My first-ever "story" landed me in the office of my principal when I was in fifth grade! I felt needed to make a point. I made my point. Posted my [one-page] story upon my classes "cloak room" wall, and then the sparks flew.
